I like playing with graphical stuff. I enjoy experimenting with code, and writing programs that create images provides pleasing instant feedback. Of course, sometimes I head off in completely the wrong direction and fail utterly to get the results I had in mind. Fortunately, it's usually a constructive learning experience. Moreover, the results, while not what I intended, are often pleasing in their own way.
For example, I really wasn't intending to produce a wireframe picture of an angry space baboon when I made this:
But that's how it seems to have ended up nonetheless, and I'm irrationally pleased with the image.
It's probably rash of me to post the results of this Rorschachesque observation. Perhaps even now, hundreds of people are looking at the picture and wondering why on earth why I think it looks like a baboon. Maybe I've given you all an unwanted glimpse into my psyche. Sorry about that.
(By the way, I will eventually post about what this was meant to be once I get it working. To those of you who manage to work out before then what I was trying to do: jolly well done!)
