I recently lamented my inability to find a satisfactory way to change the style of all elements of a particular type in dynamically in XAML. However, it turns out that this is something Microsoft intends to address in the next milestone release, according to Namita Gupta, a PM on the Avalon team.
I'm told that the approach I attempted in my final example (using *Bind
in a property
inside a Style
resource) will be the way to do this in the future. It's merely that the
PDC build doesn't support it.
